Dear Registered Republicans,
As you are aware, the 2010 Elections are very important. We must be successful in our effort to elect Conservative Candidates. To accomplish this, it will require help from all Republicans. We will need help with volunteering at the Election Polls, at the CCGOP Headquarters, assisting Candidates as needed and making phone calls. Following is the 2010 schedule for Primary Voting:
Now with this information, we ask for your help. 1) Staffing the polls for Early Voting. With help from all of you, it will not be a hardship on anyone and together we can make a difference in the 2010 Elections; 2) Staffing the polls for Election Day at all Precinct Voting Locations; and 3) In addition to working Election Polls, we will be setting up phone banks sometime in April. The phone calls will be made using scripted messages and will be made from our CCGOP Headquarters. Please contact Julia Capshaw by phone 637-6131 or via email jcapshaw@ec.rr.com to sign up for shifts and phone calls. Together we can have success and make a difference.
Our CCGOP Headquarters is located at 2652 Martin Luther King Blvd, Bern Square Shopping Center, New Bern, NC. We will need volunteers to assist with administrative work; i.e. greeting visitors, answering and making phone calls, assist with mailings and other duties as required. Headquarters managing staff is: Don Loudin, General Manager; Lucille Thomas, Office Manager and Sharon Propst, Assistant Office Manager. Please contact Lucille Thomas by phone 633-0891 (h), 349-8565 (c) or via email needlefool@suddenlink.net to sign up for shifts at Headquarters. We plan to have Headquarters open by mid April and staffed from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
For future planning purpose, the 2010 General Election Voting Schedule:
One-Stop Early Voting: October 14 – 30 and General Election Day: November 2
I look forward to a full complement of volunteers ready to work as needed. Please consider volunteering and contact the above named individuals.
Thanking you in advance,
Chuck Tyson
